The Big Apple

Day two in New York City was rather relaxing and I spent a casual day out with one of my closest friends.  He, of course, wanted to bring me to an Indian restaurant for lunch.  The meal seemed intimidating at first, but the flavors definitely reminded me of home.  The food culture in this city is just great.  We did the usual stroll through the major landmarks of the city - Times Square, Central Park and Flat Iron.  I must say, my friend made quite the effort to look 'photo-ready' today and yes, he has definitely made a leap from his simple jeans and t-shirt.
